RS All Star Break 2025
The 2025 All-Star Break arrives right around the halfway point of the season and while the greatest players head to Hotlanta, Rockem Sockem checks out where each participant stands and which player best represents each team so far.
It is also good to remember that the person leading at the ASB has gone on to win RS every year since 2016…that is, except 2023, when Fatty led at the break only to lose to BK who was in 4th. Those EXACT same conditions are in play this year, can Fatone hold out?!?!
Like past years, I will pick the player who most represents your team at the break. At least it gives us something to occupy a slice of time during these days without baseball that counts….Let's do it in standings order…
1st Place - Dogzilla: Cal Raleigh
Big Dumper has been the largest ass and surprise in baseball. Donny has ridden that rump to the top with a huge point total for the first half of the season. Is 2025 finally the year for Fatone to sail on eet's a boat thanks to the big booty catcher?!?
2nd Place - ephedraheartstoppers: Aaron Judge
Until recently Judge was ahead of Raleigh in the power department and Moon spent time in 1st. Now Dumper and Fatone are in the lead but Moon (like Judge) is having a hell of a season as well.
3rd Place - Tangled Upton Blue: Randy Arozenrana
Quick, over the last 14 days who has been the best player in baseball? Yup, Randy. Don has also been on an amazing run himself so these two match up perfectly at the break as Tangled Upton Blue has jumped up into third.
4th Place - Cole Lotta Love: Francisco Lindor
Old Reliable, BK has a solid team, Lindor is once again putting up great numbers. Ho-hum, same old, same old.
5th Place - Stairway to Blevins: Logan Webb
Tom and Logan Webb have both had a really solid season, but both have stumbled in the last 14 days (Webb is 452 last 14 Days but still 85th overall). Those stumbles aren't season ending and Webb can rack up a CG or two and Tom could get right back in this.
6th Place - I'm Low Key Like Keaschalls: Jacob Misiorowski
Winston has had a bit of a roller coaster year, but has lots of potential for the second half. Sounds a lot like this gangly rookie who looks to be pretty unhittable when on, but can throw in a clunker or two.
7th Place - All’s Bel That Ends Well: Masyn Winn
Wilson's season has been not that great, not that awful, kinda like Masyn Winn. Not great, not awful, 55 runs is pretty great, and if the Red Birds get it going he (and Neezer) could make some noise.
8th Place - Muncy Mountain Happ: Max Muncy
The namesake of this squad sucked so bad to start the year people thought his career was done-zo. The commish started the year in the basement for an extended amount of time. Muncy got glasses, got great and propelled the squad up Rockem. Two weeks ago he got hurt and it has been nothing but bleeding points for SPD as he slides back down the rankings.
9th Place - Harlem Highlanders: Devin Williams
Another guy who has had a Roller Coaster season but has been really good lately and has moved JV's team up out of the doldrums. Could be one of the elite closers in all of baseball 2nd half and Vig could move up quickly.
10th Place - Ocean’s Blyleven: Kevin Gasuman
Mike banked on other SP's who have delivered, but Gausman has been incredibly disappointing…just like the OB's.
11th Place - Darin’s Ruff Dingler Berrios: Dylan Cease
Yet another roller coaster squad as Bull has been up and down this year but has sunk like a stone the last two weeks. Cease's last 14 day ranking? 787…. YIKES…that is very bad, just like Bull in this heat.
12th Place - 8 IL’s and Rising: Bryce Miller
Speaking of bad. Bryce Miller has been awful when healthy and hurt a lot, just like Birdies squad.
