2015 All Star Break


Well the standings don't lie, but the behind the scenes tell the full story, this is by far the closest year. While Birdie has pulled away form the pack recently there are lots of points in almost all categories still up for grabs. Going to be an exciting second half of the season.

Like past years I will pick a player who best represents your team. Let's get after it…In draft order:

TanakinOnHeavensDoor- Kris Bryant 3rd Place TIE

Mike decided to grab the big Bryant early and his season kinda rested on what KB would do. Turns out he has been just as good as advertised with the 50th rated season so far in 2015. Has Mike in the free eats location and puts Bryant on the fantasy map for the next 10-15 years.

ephedraheartstoppers- Josh Donaldson 3rd Place TIE

Moon has had an odd season so far with lots of players putting in career seasons, Fielder & Gray and others just sucking balls. Donaldson is doing what he do though and that is helping Moon sit pretty in the free eats chair. Oh and two years in a row I picked JD for Moon…strange.

Italian Stallions- Stephen Strasburg 9th Place

Vig had a good start to things floating around the top of the table when the season started. If Strasburg had put forth half the season he should have JV would probably still be up there, but woof a has SS been a lost cause and with it he sinks Vigs ship as well.

refugee- Anthony Rendon 11th Place

Bull has had the most injuries to deal with but his team has been sucking even when healthy. Rendon has been a bust and so has Bull's full squad…and not in a sexy busty way….

If Dogs Run Freeman- Aroldis Chapman 7th Place

Chapman hasn't necessarily been bad, he just hasn't gotten many save chances because the Reds suck. The commish's team hasn't necessarily been bad, but started off so fucking god awful that now 7th place looks like a real accomplishment.

JoshSnortsPhilsCoke- Johnny Cueto 1st Place

He's in first place and Birdie deserves the praise just like Cueto does sitting at the 35th ranked player at the break even with only 6 W's. Impressive. That said every time Cueto fires a heater it looks painful and I am not sure about birdie's hold on the lead of Rockem.

TangledUptonBlue- Justin Verlander 12th Place

Well you both have cool things with Upton in it. Don's got the best team name and Justin's got Kate's Can's…so there's that. Just not much going on in baseball for either of them.

Jeter & The Monkey Man- Matt Harvey 6th Place

Tom had faith in the Dark Knight and it is proving to be well founded as Harvey is doing what he can to float Tom's Boat. Not quite Eets a Boat!!! levels yet but MH has looked solid and Tom is within shouting distance of Free Eats. Seems about right.

Mr. Xenderine Man- Mookie Betts 5th Place

BK has one of the more interesting teams this year, he has no one in the top 10 ranking but the most from 10-99. Very balanced and looking to make a move the second half. I Picked Betts because he was the closest to meeting his preseason projection and BK always delivers so what else is new?

Forever M. Young- Shelby Miller 10th Place

This one was pretty obvious Shelby and Neezer both started off the season great, wild visions of championships danced in their heads. Over the last 30 Days though Shelby has pitched as the girl's name he has and Soup has sunk down the Rockem Ranks.

SpangbrgSquarPaniks- Chris Davis 8th Place

Holding his own and still the whiskey shot is needed because Winston is caught in the middle of the pack and could use Davis to start hitting like he should be.

dogzilla- Ryan Braun 2nd Place

Because we all know Don is somehow cheating to be in second place….
