WHEWWWWWW!!! This was a great one. Quite possibly the best one. Could have only been better with Full Horsemen Participation, but we carried on, as is our custom. It was rowdy at points. It was emotional at points. And it was epic throughout.
A long-standing Rockem axiom - “The help either loves us or hates us. There is no middle ground.” - was on FULL DISPLAY this warm weekend in Houston as we received not one… not two… but three separate notes from Marriott staff telling us how much they enjoyed our particular brand of revelry. Don't believe me? Why you mistrustful bastard. Ok jerk, here's a pic….
See, i told you. And those notes came with complimentary beer and champagne and, i think, some cookies. But it wasn't just the notes and beer and champagne and cookies. It really was the PEOPLE that made this trip extraordinary. And it wasn't just the ones looking for a tip either. Every single person down there took to us like a bunch of northerners to a lazy river pool shaped like Texas.

OK! So back to the people. I just love 'em! Everybody sorta in a good mood? Having fun? SMILING? For example, at the park, Jay Moon and I wanted to enjoy two footlong hotdogs a peach with all kinds of cheese and chili on them…. as also is our custom….
